Glass plate negative of a full length portrait of Prince Albert, standing next to a pillar. He faces slightly left, and turns his head to look towards the camera. He holds a walking stick in one hand, and a pair of gloves with a top hat in the other hand.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from this negative exist in the Collection (e.g. RCINs 2514761 and 2105670).
