Price stating that he gave Dr. Ernst Becker's list of private collections to Mr Freeborn immediately on arriving in Rome, so that he could obtain permission for them to be photographed, and that this permission has been obtained for all but the four pictures in the Doria collection.
Enclosed with VIC/ADDA10/85/279, Colonel Bruce's letter to Dr Becker of 9 March 1859.
