WILLIAM LAKE PRICE (1810-96)

Letter from William Lake Price to Colonel Bruce sending the list of pictures which the Prince Consort has commissioned him to photograph in Rome and welcoming Bruce's assistance if any difficulties arise.

11 Feb 1859

Loose manuscript paper; mounted | 1 document (4 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/ADDA10/85/280

Lake Price encloses the list [not present] of pictures which the Prince Consort has asked him to photograph; if any difficulties arise in relation to the private galleries involved, he will be glad of Colonel Bruce's assistance, but meanwhile Mr Freeborn is making progress in carrying out the Prince's commands, so Bruce may be spared the trouble of helping.

Enclosed with VIC/ADDA10/85/279, Colonel Bruce's letter to Dr Becker of 9 March 1859.
