WILLIAM LAKE PRICE (1810-96)
Letter from William Lake Price to Colonel Bruce regarding his other commissions to photograph pictures in Rome.
8 Mar 1859Loose manuscript paper; mounted | 1 document (4 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/ADDA10/85/282
Lake Price states that in order to remove any doubts on the matter, he intends to apply in writing and separately for all the permissions he needs to carry out his photographic commissions from the Art Union of London and others.
This is because Dr Becker has been given the impression that he might use the Prince Consort's name in order to procure these permissions. He encloses a copy of the first of his applications (see VIC/ADDA10/85/283) which he is willing for Bruce to send to Dr. Becker if he sees fit.
Enclosed with VIC/ADDA10/85/279, Colonel Bruce's letter to Dr Becker of 9 March 1859.
Related Material: For related correspondence, see VIC/ADDA10/85/279 and VIC/ADDA10/85/283.
