Lord Aberdeen states that he has encouraged measures that lead to the removal of M. Dietz. He mentions that the [Tariff] Treaty is still not completed and refers to the difficult position of the Portuguese government. Lord Aberdeen also states that he cannot understand the letter from M. ?von Fischer and refers to the arrival of Baron Stockmar.
