Ruland thanks Buchanan on the Prince Consort's behalf for sending the box with Clifford's two negatives so promptly, and asks him if he will forward some more photographs the Prince has asked Clifford to take. The payment to Clifford has been refunded to Buchanan's bank; Ruland suggests that Clifford's next bill should be sent with the photographs, so that it can be paid direct to the bank at Madrid.
