Letter from the Princess Royal to Prince Albert

Includes reference to the Princess Royal's enjoyment during her trip to Erdmannsdorf. She sends her father a picture of his grandmother, Caroline of Gotha [Duchess of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg] and writes that it was given to her by Countess Henkel. Countess Henkel's mother (Countess Bohlen) had been given it by Caroline through their friendship. The picture also contain a locket of Caroline's hair at the back. The Princess Royal also mentions the Grand Duke of Tuscany and her upcoming travels to Baden and Cologne.
