Includes the Princess Royal referring to Pedro's [V of Portugal] sad letter and asks her father whether he is going to invite him to England as the Prince Hohenzollern and his son are anxious that Pedro should have a change. The Princess Royal also mentions that she is going to ask Countess Blumenthal to replace Countess Perponcher for a year or two. She details the search for a governess for her son and refers to Countess Hacke, Countess Oriolla and Lady Caroline [Barrington].
