Includes the Princess Royal expressing her sadness at the death of Stephanie [Queen Consort of Portugal] and the tragedy for Pedro [V of Portugal]. She discusses politics further and also refers to Count Pourtales and Marie Leiningen. She responds to her father with regards to her son's arm and her fear that it will remain crooked. She also mentions that the Queen [of Prussia] had said to her that Stephanie and Pedro had not been so happy together.
