Includes the Princess Royal referring to Count Blücher's words regarding Austria. She refers to herself taking history lessons with [Professor] Droysen, Princess Alice's confirmation and Dr Jacobi being ill. She writes that she now has a collection of Dr Schwertz's sermons from Aunt Alexandrine [Duchess of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha] and refers to playing on her harmonica. She also plans to read 'Empress Catharine's memories'.
