      Includes the Princess Royal reflecting on the political world. This includes her fear of the 'Emperor' beginning a war. She writes of her shock that Princess Clotilde of Savoy should marry Prince Napoleon and refers to the princess' father, the King of Sardinia. She also mentions arrestations in Poland and whisperings of a revolution in Germany.
