Includes the Princess Royal expressing her distress that her father is unwell and has many things on his mind. She refers to letters from Uncle Ferdinand and Count Lavradio. She mentions that the Baron has written a letter in protest against Bertie's [Prince of Wales] marriage to Princess Alexandra of Denmark and sends her father a photograph of a picture in the Cologne exhibition, relating to the Dusseldorff school. She also refers to [Giacomo] Meyerbeer and the Exhibition next year, the Opera of Verdi and Edward Bowater.
