Includes the Princess Royal writing about the feeling in Germany against England. She mentions that she wrote to Queen Victoria on the remarks she has heard about Bertie's [Prince of Wales] affair. She writes that the Princess [?Alexandra] does not come across as being very clever, unlike [Elisabeth] Wied. She also refers to a book 'Theodore Parker's discourse on Religion' that she has been reading.
