Includes the Princess Royal forwarding her father a copy of a letter she wrote to Mrs Paget and expresses her excitement at coming to England soon, but her sadness at leaving Fritz [Prince Frederick of Prussia] behind. She also mentions that William I of Prussia has been unwell with a pain in his side and refers to a letter from Bertie [Prince of Wales] with reference to Princess Alix [Alexandra of Denmark].
