Includes the Princess Royal referring to Princess Alice's engagement and Prince Albert's 'attack'. She writes that Fritz [Prince Frederick of Prussia] is at Letzlingen with most of the other princes for shooting and that her household affairs are not progressing. She writes that the 'Grande Maitresse' is an obstacle, as well as referring to the search for a governess and Count Fürstenstein staying for good.
