Includes the Princess Royal referring to her father's approval of the steps they took regarding Princess Alice's potential marriage to Louis [Prince of Hesse] and Prince Albert's wish that Alice does not marry immediately. The Princess Royal mentions that they will not tell the Princess of Prussia about what has passed until they have Prince Albert's approval. She also writes that Fritz [Prince Frederick of Prussia] will have to leave at 2 o'clock tomorrow morning in order to attend Marie Lynar's wedding.
