She writes that [Giuseppe] Garibaldi's defeat has brought pleasure here and refers to the King of Naples. She expresses her sadness at the deaths of Mr Glover and Mr ?Donald. The Princess Royal also mentions that the Baron is back and that Aunt Feodora [Princess Feodora of Leiningen] has bought a house at Baden. She also asks her father to thank her mother for Mr Philip's photos of her marriage.
