Includes the Princess Royal referring to the news of Uncle Hohenlohe's [Ernst I, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg] death and expresses her thoughts for Aunt Feodora [Princess Feodora of Leiningen]. She also writes about her meeting with Bertie [Prince of Wales] at Magdeburg. She refers to the Emperor [Napoloen] and Lord Bloomfield, Fritz of Baden's [Frederick I, Grand Duke of Baden] proclamation regarding the Concordat and how her own opinion and the Princess' [of Prussia] differ. She also mentions the Empress Dowager of Russia's visit.
