      Letter from the Duke of Somerset to the Prince Consort submitting plans for the Prince of Wales's travel to Canada in the summer. He states that a newly commissioned ship would not be ready in time for the tour and instead suggests they used a vessel from the Channel or Mediterranean fleet.
