The Duke of Newcastle updates Queen Victoria on the Prince of Wales's tour of the USA. He refers to the Orange demonstrations and the Mayor of Kingston. He writes that they spent three days at Niagara and also refers to John Wentworth, the Mayor of Chicago as a remarkable man who has 'complete hold over the population'.
