Letter from Sir Robert Peel to Prince Albert stating that he has given his 'best attention' to the matter of the christening, as brought to him by Lord Liverpool, and that he wishes to meet Prince Albert's views. He suggests that in order to prevent enquiries regarding expenditure that a sum of £2,500 or £3,000 be provided to meet the expenses not met by the Lord Steward's Department, and that it be spent on the fitting of St. George's Chapel.
