Letter from Sir Robert Peel to Prince Albert advising that the Queen should take no step with regard to the armorial bearings of the Prince of Wales except on the recommendation of the Committee of the Privy Council. He suggests that after receiving the order from Her Majesty the Committee should confer with the Earl Marshal on the subject and submit a report on their findings.
