Letter from Sir Robert Peel to Prince Albert enclosing answers of the Law Officers of the Crown to the Prince's previous enquiries (see VIC/MAIN/Z/470/51-52). He also reports that the paper with which he was entrusted has been forwarded to the Lord Chancellor and he has informed him that it is the Queen's desire that the papers be held in deposit, on account of the Duke of Cornwall.
