Prince Albert includes reference to Affie's [Prince Alfred] visit to Edinburgh and mentions Melrose Abbey and Abbotsford. He writes that they have been to the Channel Islands with visits to Alderney and Mont Orgueil. Prince Albert also mentions a competition between Captain Du Plat and a Mr Price of the yacht.
