Regarding the Prince of Wales' journey with Mr Gibbs to the west of England. He refers to a bad weather crossing to Calshot Castle, lunch at Eaglehurst and General Drummond taking them in a carriage. Mr Gibbs also mentions a trip to Beaulieu and arriving at Christchurch where the hotel is changing hands. Mr Gibbs states that the Prince of Wales being incognito is not very successful.
