30 Jul 1860Loose manuscript paper; mounted | 1 document (5 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/MAIN/Z/3/32
Countess Blücher writes on behalf of the Princess Royal. The Princess still feels weak and at times a little low. Although the birth of a daughter is of no disappointment to Fritz [Prince Frederick of Prussia], the Princess admits that she hopes they will have another son in future. She also mentions that they had intended to shoot a hare to put [Prince] William's arm into, but they were unable to get hold of one.
