BARON CHRISTIAN FRIEDRICH STOCKMAR (1787-1863)

Letter from Baron Stockmar to Queen Victoria

29 Dec 1846

Loose manuscript paper; mounted | 1 document (6 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/MAIN/M/12/53

Refers to his paper regarding the education of the Royal children. He states that partly due to ill health, the paper is not as complete as he would wish but asks Queen Victoria to read it carefully. Furthermore, as it is mostly written in German, he suggests that it is translated by Mr Meyer.
