Draft letter from Queen Victoria to President Buchanan accepting his invitation to host the Prince of Wales on his journey through the United States. Also informing him that the Prince of Wales would 'drop all Royal state' and would travel as Lord Renfrew. Previously enclosed with a letter from Lord John Russell to the Prince Consort (see VIC/MAIN/Z/466/34).
