An account taken of the experience of carpenter and builder, John Janes of 50 North Street, Edgware Road during the attempt on Queen Victoria's life. He states that he was in the park and saw his nephew (Charles Dassett) take the 'humpbacked' boy and the boy's pistol to the police. He writes that the policeman smiled as if it were a joke and the 'humpbacked' boy got away, but his nephew was taken into custody. Copy.
