An account of the experience of the Equerry in Waiting, Colonel Arbuthnot during the attempt on Queen Victoria's life. He describes seeing the prisoner on Constitution Hill looking restless and then firing a pistol at Queen Victoria's carriage. He states that a policeman was near and that the prisoner gives his name as John Francis.
