Copy letter from the Prince Consort to Sir Charles Beaumont Phipps returning a signed order to Coutts (see VIC/MAIN/M/10/117) and explaining that he delayed the opening of an account to allow himself time to understand his duties and liabilities as an Executor. He also reports that the Queen approves of £200 being given to Seabrook and that he approves of the payments to be made by Coutts to the late Duchess's servants.
