Copy letter from Sir Edmund Head to the Duke of Newcastle acknowledging receipt of his previous letter and reporting that a programme for the visit would be forwarded with the next mail. He provides details and advice regarding the intended arrangements, such as the best time to travel, meeting points and the requirement for saddle horses. Head also suggests that two 'aid de camps' from the Militia of Canada be named to the Queen and provides the names of Sir A.M. Nab and Sir Etienne Poché. Previously enclosed with VIC/MAIN/Z/466/9.
