Copy letter from Lord Lyons to Lord John Russell regarding the Prince of Wales's intended visit to the United States. He states that politically it may be prudent for the Prince to stay in the United States for a short a time as possible. He also writes that he feels that the President would be offended if the Prince were to be near Washington without visiting.
