A print after a painting now in the Uffizi, Florence (inv. 1890, no.775). Lettered with production details and identity of the sitter. Published in J.D. Passavant, Rafael von Urbino und sein Vater Giovanni Santi, Leipzig 1839-58, plate VII. Annotated in pencil at upper right: 114.

The painting, currently attributed to Alessandro Allori, is a copy of the Portrait of Giuliano de' Medici, a work now in the Metropolitan Museum of New York (inv. no.49.7.12) generally regarded as by Raphael and his workshop and dated about 1515. A photograph at RCIN 852058.
