A print after the so-called La Gravida, a painting by Raphael (c.1505-07) now in the Palazzo Pitti, Florence (inv.1912, no.229). Lettered with production details and attribution of the portrait to an anonymous painter. The authorship of the portrait has long remained unclear, but it is now generally regarded as a work by Raphael. The identity of the sitter has so far not been identified.
