A photograph of a painting formerly thought to be by Raphael, catalogued by Ruland (1876) as being then in the collection of Don Marcello in Rome. Another photograph of the painting can be found at RCIN 850062. Ruland reputed the painting to be a self-portrait by Raphael.
Acquired for the Prince Consort's Raphael Collection (c.1860-76)
