An engraving depicting the Annunciation that Ruland (1876) catalogued as being after a lost original by Raphael for the Grassi family in Bologna (c.1510-1511). Massari (see Bibliographic References) states that the painting was lost in 1773 and that the known prints depicting the composition are after a lost preparatory drawing.
