Photograph of a full length portrait of a Zulu warrior Chief who is standing and facing the viewer with a spear in his right hand. He wears furs and part of a leopard skin, and feathers on his head. On the right is seated a female Zulu (possibly his wife). By the feet of the Chief are a bowl and pot with a shield in the background.

The 1892 carbon copy print is adhered over the top of the original albumen print.
