Photograph of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) wearing a wide brimmed hat and seated on a stone bench on the terrace at Osborne. Standing slightly in front of her is Prince Arthur (1850-1942), later the Duke of Connaught also wearing a hat. On the right stands Jane the Marchioness of Ely (1821-90) facing three-quarters left. On the left is seated the Honourable Flora MacDonald (1822-c. 90) who faces the group.
