Photograph of a full length portrait of Lady Harriet Hamilton (1834-1913) standing, captured in profile facing right. She wears a costume consisting of a light colour dress, headdress and pearl stomacher, dressed in the guise of Mary Queen of Scots. She looks straight ahead and rests her left hand on books on a table on her left hand side. A piece of lace also lies alongside the books on the table.
