Photograph of The Comte d'Eu, later Prince Gaston of Orleans (1842-1922), seated on a bench on the terrace at Osborne House. On his left is seated Prince Ferdinand, Duc d'Alencon (1844-1910) who has his left arm on the shoulders of the Comte d'Eu. Both boys face the viewer and wear dark jackets with light colour trousers.
