Photograph of a woman and child in an interior setting. The woman is seated, facing three-quarters to the right. She looks down at a young girl who stands beside her legs and holds a doll. In the background is a large mirror in which the subjects are reflected. The room also contains other objects, including male and female figurines, potted plants and a table at the foot of which is a small basket containing needlework and/or embroidery.
