Photograph of a full length portrait of a hunter or game keeper seated, facing three-quarters to the right. He looks at the viewer and holds a rifle and dead rabbit over his lap. He wears a hat, light colour shirt and jacket, dark colour trousers and shoes. A spaniel lies at his feet.

A number of portraits and studies by Moulin were shown at the exhibitions of the Photographic Society in 1854 and 1855. At least nineteen of his prints were acquired by the Queen and Prince Albert.
