Photograph of a painting of a half-length portrait of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) by Franz Winterhalter (1805-73). The Queen is captured facing three-quarters to the left. She gazes ahead, away from the viewer. She wears a garland of flowers around her head and her wedding dress that she wore when she wed Prince Albert (1819-61) in 1840.
