Salted paper print | 11.3 x 16.9 cm (image) | RCIN 2932746

Photograph of a group of ten individuals, consisting of three adults and seven boys, playing with cup-and-balls. The group are arranged in a semi-circular shape, facing towards the camera. At the centre of the composition, a boy holds a ball in his left hand and the cup, or spike, in his right. Five of the other boys hold cup-and-balls. A boy on the far left holds a hoop. A hoop lies on the ground at the centre of the group. The photograph appears to have been taken  within the courtyard of a house.
