Photograph of a painting by Sir Edwin Landseer of Queen Victoria's daschund, Deckel. He is portrayed in left side profile with his head in three-quarters left with a door in the background. The caption beneath the photograph gives the date of 1847 but Landseer did not paint Deckel until 1849. The painting is clearly signed and dated. See RCIN 403059.
