Photograph of an elaborately decorated sword hilt featuring a serpent's head at the top of the handle. An invoice dated 14 July 1854 for 11 photographs totalling £1 13s was submitted to Dr Ernst Becker and payment was received by Bedford on 12 October 1854 (Royal Archives PPTO/PP/QV/PP2/4840).
