Photograph of a full length portrait of a female Zulu warrior lying on the ground, leaning on her left side and supporting herself on her shield with her left elbow. She faces three-quarters right and holds a spear in her left hand. 

The 1892 carbon copy print is adhered over the top of the original albumen print.
