Photograph of the choir screen inside Westminster abbey, London. In the recesses flanking the screen's central arch are funereal effigies and a pulpit stands on the left facing rows of stacked chairs. In the background can be seen the eastern window of Henry VII's chapel.
Westminster Abbey was consecrated in 1065 and was dedicated to St Peter, the patron saint of fishermen, following a vision that a fisherman by the name of Aldrich had on the Thames near to where the abbey was subsequently built.
