A photograph of a drawing by Raphael (c.1504) currently housed in the Albertina, Vienna (inv. no.IV,4879). The drawing may be a cartoon for a probably never executed painting.
The photograph shows the half-length Virgin resting her left hand on an open book and presenting the naked Christ Child with a pomegranate which she holds in her right; set against a landscape background.
